Description

The entrance gate of No. 54 on Spencer Road dates from the 18th century. It features an arched gateway that is flanked by piers, which have an incised pattern similar to the pilasters on the house. The gateway has imposts supporting a semi-circular arch, with a cornice and blocking course above. At the center, the gate is crowned by an urn.
