Description

This is a chest tomb, dating from the early 17th century, located approximately 5 meters west of a monument and 50 feet south of the west tower of All Saints Church in Godshill. The tomb is made of stone and features a moulded top slab along with separate inscription panels on the ends and sides. At the time of the survey, the inscription was partially buried, but the end panel reads, "YOU BE AS I WAS. YOU SHALL BE AS I AM."
