Description

The structure is a groyne and pleasure promenade located at the bottom of East Street in Brighton. It was built around 1880 and served at one time as a coal delivery pier. Sections of the groyne have been rebuilt throughout the 20th century. The construction features flint with a walkway made of paving stones.
