Description

A row of cottages, likely originally four in number, dating from the 16th to 18th centuries. The construction is a mix of flint with brick dressings, stucco, and a tile roof. The cottages are two storeys high with six windows in total. There is one flat-arched entrance to number 128, and two to numbers 130-6, which form a single property. The greater part of numbers 130-6 is built of flint with brick dressings and some brick quoins, while number 128 and the adjoining section of numbers 130-6 are stuccoed. Most of the windows are flat-arched, with some segmental-arched windows. The roof is hipped, with a lower section over the original number 136, and includes ridge stacks. Evidence of timber-framing, dating back to the 16th or 17th century, is visible within numbers 130-6.
