Description
These are terraced houses, now used as shops and offices, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are finished in stucco, and the roofs are obscured by a blocking course. The buildings rise to three storeys, with one window each. The ground floor features shop fronts, with the central unit's shop front dating to the late 19th century or early 20th century and made of cast iron, supported by thin colonnettes and featuring a transom with Jacobean style tracery. There are three two-storey segmental bays with triple flat-arched windows on the first and second floors, stopping just short of the entablature. The first floor of the centre bay and the first and second floors of the right-hand bay have original sash windows in a 4 x 4 design. A storey band runs between the first and second floors, continuing across the bays and along the return, which has a two-window range. The parapet also features a blocking course, and there are stacks on the end and party walls. The interior was not inspected.
