Description

This wall fronts the private road leading to the terrace houses at numbers 21 to 33 Church Road. It dates from around 1884 and was restored in 1991. The wall is constructed of brick with a cement render finish and extends for approximately 50 metres. It stands about one metre high and is divided into eight bays by square, rusticated piers, with circular piers at each end. Both the terminal and central piers support lamp standards. The wall has a moulded coping and a plinth. It forms part of a group with Palmeira Mansions.
