Description

Margos Mews consists of three terraced cottages, likely dating from the late 18th or early 19th century. The construction is of flint with brick dressings, and the roofs are tiled. The cottages are two storeys high with dormers in the attic; Nos. 1 and 3 have two windows each, and No. 2 has three. Brick quoins are present on No. 1 and at the end of No. 3. The entrances are flat-arched, and their details may have been altered. Most windows have brick dressings except for the window above the entrance to No. 2, and most are flat-arched, with the exception of the ground floor window of No. 1. Two late 20th-century dormers are visible on Nos. 2 and 3, with ridges running into the main roof ridge. Stacks are located on the party walls. The right-hand return wall features a flat-arched entrance and windows. The interiors were not inspected. Originally, the cottages were known as Bunkers Row.
