Description

Mill Cottages, located on the west side of High Street, Rottingdean, are a pair of terraced cottages likely dating to the late 18th or early 19th century. They were probably originally built as two separate cottages, with a gabled range positioned behind. The cottages are constructed of flint, now painted, with tile roofs. The south front features flat-arched doorways. On the east side, there are two segmental-arched windows at ground floor level, and a flat-arched window on the first floor. The windows facing south have varying flat and segmental arches, and were likely replaced in the late 20th century. A stack is situated on the ridge of the east wing. The interior of the cottages has not been inspected.
