Description

Number 3 is a terraced house built around 1825 by Amon Wilds and Charles Augustus Busby. The house is constructed of stucco, with brick in Flemish bond that is painted up to the second floor. It has a tiled roof and stands three storeys over a basement, featuring one window range. The entry is round-arched and includes a fanlight, with a door designed in the original style. The ground floor displays banded rustication, which transitions to voussoirs over the entry and in the camber-arched window. There is a segmental bay on the first floor with a balcony and cast-iron railing; it has tripartite, flat-arched windows, with the central windows retaining their original sash design. The bay also features a projecting cornice. On the second floor, there is a camber-arched window with a gauged brick lintel, and an entablature is present below the eaves. A flat-arched dormer is located on the roof, and there are stacks at the party wall. The interior has not been inspected, but it includes cast-iron spear-headed railings to the stairs and area.
