Description
This is a range of outbuildings dating from the late 17th century, located at the rear of the barn west of The White Hart Public House in Winkfield. The buildings are constructed with a timber frame and are weatherboarded, topped with a hipped clay pantile roof that features a catslide on the left side adjoining the barn.
The outbuildings have a rectangular plan divided into three sections, consisting of two sections with two framed bays each and a central section with four framed bays. Each section is separated by rough elm planking. The end sections are single storey, while the centre section includes a plank floor supported by rough joists, which creates a hay loft above. The roof in this section is a queen post design, partly ceiled.
Inside, there are two primitive stables with rough planked partitions and trough mangers, along with two planked hayloft doors. The end sections feature queen strut roofs and planked entrance doors.
