Description
The Ferry Boat Inn is an inn located on Forest Road in Walthamstow, E17. It was built in the early 18th century, with possible extensions added in the late 18th century. The building is finished in stucco and features a tiled pitched roof that reaches the eaves. The original structure consists of two storeys with dormers and is three windows wide. There is a square-headed entrance with a projecting timber canopy and a 20th-century door. The windows are square-headed, featuring 16-pane sash designs with almost flush frames, and there are hipped dormers as well. To the left, there is a two-storey extension that is one window wide, along with single-storey bay window extensions on both the left and right sides. The interior of the inn remains unmodernised.
