Description
This is a pair of houses located in the northeast part of the grounds of Prince of Wales's General Hospital, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. Each house is three storeys high with a basement and features three windows. The outer bays of the houses project slightly. They are constructed of brown brick and have a stone cornice, blocking course, and a band at the first floor level. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are topped with gauged flat brick arches. There is a stuccoed extension to the north that includes a bow window. The south house features a Doric porch with fluted columns, a frieze of triglyphs and guttae, and a mutule cornice with a blocking course. The north house has had its upper part replaced with a plain entablature and a low pediment.
