Description
Building number 14, marked "Est. 1864," is likely from around 1890. It is constructed of stock brick in Flemish bond and features a hipped tiled roof with ridge tiles and three ribbed brick chimneystacks. The building consists of two parallel ranges. The front has a projecting gable supported by brackets, which includes bargeboards, a pendant, and timber framing. The first floor features a large five-light bay with a French window and a similar corner window on the left side. There is a wooden balcony on brackets. The ground floor has two double doors and three casement windows. Set back to the right is a three-storey tower with a hipped tiled roof topped by an ogee-shaped cupola, along with a brick cornice and blank panels. A hoist door is present on the second floor, along with a door leading onto the balcony and two sash windows. The rear elevation has three casement windows.
