Description
83 and 85 High Street in Teddington are two adjoining buildings. Number 83 is an 18th-century brick structure that has been painted and partly covered in stucco, featuring a red tiled hipped roof. It stands two storeys tall and is three bays wide. The ground floor has a shop front, likely from the early Victorian period, with a wooden canopy extending over the pavement. There is an additional entrance to the right. The building has sash windows with flush frames, except for the right window, which is a later recessed sash.
Number 85 dates from around 1700 and is located behind Number 83. This building is also two storeys high and is constructed partly of brick and partly weather-boarded. It has a double-pitched hipped roof made of tile and partly slate, and features one flush-framed window. The interiors of both buildings have not been seen.
