Description

Nos 647 and 649 on Chigwell Road are a pair of former properties, originally known as Nos 11 and 13 Manor Road, dating from the 18th century. The building consists of two storeys, with No 649 featuring one window and No 647 featuring two windows. The structure is made of colourwashed brick and has a dentil eaves course. The front roof is covered with plain tiles that have been renewed, while the rear has pantiles that extend down to the ground floor eaves. No 647 includes a 19th-century shop front with a central doorway and flanking bow windows. The other windows are flush framed double hung sashes with glazing bars. The properties are included for their group value.
