Description
Thurlby House dates from the late 18th century. It is a rendered building with a central section that slightly projects. It originally had a 1+1+1 arrangement of sash windows, with the central windows being slightly different. The house is two storeys high and has a square mansard roof covered in old slate tiles, featuring flat-topped dormers. A large, early 19th-century wooden porch with plain Doric columns, bands, and a parapet has been added. Modern or later extensions, built in a similar style, are present to the right and left. The building has group value.
