Description

Gwynne House is a plain neo-classical house built in 1816 by J B Papworth. It is two storeys high and has seven bays, constructed of white brick with a parapet. The house features double hung sash windows that are set under flat gauged brick arches. While the glazing bars are missing on the west front, they remain on the south front. The north front serves as the entrance and includes a central projecting porch supported by stone Doric columns, with a door that has a half round fanlight. The interiors of the house are simple.
