Description

The Bingham tomb is a pedestal tomb located in the churchyard of St Mary, approximately 12 yards from the Savage tomb. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed from Portland stone in a Greek Revival style. The tomb features a stepped base with a circular pedestal that is topped by a triangular block. This block is inscribed, corniced, and has low pedimented projections along with corner acroteria. An urn finial sits atop a cylindrical pedestal.
