Description

The Grange, now known as Fralunor, is a detached house built in 1889 and designed by Ernest Newton. It is constructed of red brick with tile hanging to the upper storey, and has a tiled, hipped roof. The house is in a Free Queen Anne revival style. It is two storeys high and consists of four bays, the rightmost bay featuring a gable and a two-storey segmental bow window. The projecting porch, with a hipped roof, is located in the second bay and features four pairs of short Tuscan columns set on low walls. Windows are 2, 3, and 4-light, square-headed casements with glazing bars. A flat-topped dormer is located on the left side. Tall chimneys are present. The interior has not been inspected.
