Description
Stamford House is a substantial house dating to circa 1720. It is built of rendered brick and has a tiled double-pitched roof behind a parapet. The house is arranged over three storeys and has five bays. A central square-headed entrance features a decorative fanlight above a six-panelled door, with a later hood over. The house has flush framed sash windows, retaining their original glazing bars, and bands dividing the storeys. The rear elevation is also of architectural interest, incorporating a Venetian window. A date stone inscribed "1720" is set into a two-storey, two-window-range section attached to the left. The interior has not been inspected.
