Description

This is a parish boundary marker located on Staines Road, dating from 1812. Made of Portland stone, it is an upright rectangular block with a square cross-section. The stone features a deeply sunk inscription that reads, "This is the Boundary of the Parish of HESTON 1812."

The marker was established following a parish boundary survey conducted by Heston Parish on May 7, 1812, to clearly define the division between Heston and Isleworth parishes.
