Description
No. 119 High Street is a 2-storey building with a 2-window red brick front dating from the 18th century. The brickwork features a parapet that conceals an older timber-framed structure beneath. The building has a high pitched tiled roof and flat gauged brick arches above modern leaded casements on the first floor. The ground floor has replaced oriel bow shop windows with glazing bars and a central half-glazed double door that is sheltered by a bracketed flat hood. There is also a passage door located under a round gauged brick arch on the right side. Inside, the building includes some chamfered beams and a small inglenook. Nos. 118 to 120, along with Nos. 122 and 123, form a group with this property.
