Description

Nos 74 and 75 on High Street in Uxbridge are a pair of buildings dating from around 1800. Each building has three storeys and two windows. They are constructed from yellow stock brick and feature a stone-coped parapet. The buildings have a recess aligned with the main axis. The sash windows, which include glazing bars, are topped with gauged flat brick arches; the first-floor windows are set in elliptical arched recesses. No 74 has a modern shop on the ground floor, while No 75 features two windows and, to the left, a six-panel door with reeded quadrant pilasters, a cornice head, and a patterned radial fanlight. Nos 74 to 76 form a group.
