Description
Mistletoe Farmhouse is a house that has evolved over four different periods and consists of three sections. The front section is two storeys high and features three windows, with the two left bays dating from the 16th century and the right bay from the early 17th century. It has a high-pitched tiled roof and an attractive symmetrical old brick chimney at the junction. The first floor displays visible timber framing with painted brick filling, while the ground floor is finished in painted brick. The windows are modern leaded casements of modest size. Inside, there are some exposed beams with curved, stepped chamfer stops. The middle section, likely from the 18th century, and the back section, from the late 19th or early 20th century, are made of painted brick and have tiled roofs. To visually connect these newer sections with the older part of the house, mock timbering has been added to the first floors.
