Description
The Case is Altered Public House is a building that dates back to the 16th century for the right part, with a 19th-century addition on the left. It stands two storeys tall. The right section features a long lean-to roof covered with old tiles, leading down to a modern square bay window with leaded casements and a contemporary door. The left section is made of painted brick and has a returned gable on the right side. It includes 19th-century casements set under segmental brick arches and a modern door. There is a band at the first floor and a tiled roof. Inside the older part, original posts and ceiling beams are visible. The building is noted for its significant position on an important corner site.
