Description

The Old Coach House is an early 17th century timber-framed building that has undergone alterations. It stands two storeys high and features three windows, which are currently blocked. The building has a high-pitched roof that has been renewed with machine tiles. On the north end wall, the original timber framing with brick filling is still visible. The other sides have been restored and now have modern brick filling. The ground floor is made of brick, which may be concealing a jetty. The Old Coach House, along with the Wall and Dovecote and the Garden Walls, forms a group.
