Description

The garden walls to the east of the Old Coach House are 17th century structures made of red brick. They enclose both an inner and an outer garden. The north-west wall features large square brick piers at regular intervals topped with a flat stone coping. The north-east wall has been significantly lowered and repaired. In other areas, the wall has been breached and subsequently restored in one or two places. The Old Coach House, the wall, and the dovecote together form a cohesive group.
