Description

No 2 Field End Road is a 17th century timber-framed building that stands two storeys high and features three windows beneath a three-gabled roof covered with old tiles. The walls are mostly plastered, except for the north side facing High Road, where the timber framing with brick nogging can be seen. There are traces of jettying along the front of the building. The first floor has modern casement windows, while the ground floor retains old leaded casements. A 19th century door hood supported by brackets is present. Additionally, there is a modern two-storey extension on the left side, which has two windows.
