Description
Eastcote Grange is a 16th and 17th century timber-framed house located on the north side of High Road in Eastcote. The building has two storeys and consists of two sections, with an added barn to the west. The eastern part, which dates from the 16th century, features four bays, although one bay is blank on the first floor, and has a returning gable on the left. It has an old tiled roof and a prominent compound stack. Adjacent to the east is a 17th-century section with six bays and three gables on the right, with the left part adapted from a barn. The exterior is covered in white-painted weatherboarding, and the roofs are also tiled. Modern leaded casements have been installed. There is a carriageway beneath the left gable. At the far west, there is an additional barn extension made of tarred weatherboarding, which extends west for three bays and then south for four bays, featuring an open carriageway. Inside, the structure includes queen post roof trusses. Eastcote Grange and the Gardener's Cottage are part of a group of buildings.
