Description

The wall running south from the Old Gatehouse and west along the front of Gatehouse Nurseries is an early 16th-century structure made of high red brick. It features a tall sloped coping above a brick dentil cornice and ramps down at the northern end to connect with the Gatehouse. This wall, along with St Martin's Church, the churchyard walls, and the Gatehouse, forms a cohesive group of historical structures.
