Description

The walls surrounding St Martin's Churchyard are 16th century red brick structures featuring tall sloped coping. They are located along the east and north sides of the churchyard, as well as the northern part of the west side. At the south end of the east side, there is a square pier topped with a stone cornice and ball finials. These walls, along with St Martin's Church, the Gatehouse, and the wall leading to Gatehouse Nurseries, form a cohesive group.
