Description

The walls to the north and west of the land of Gatehouse Nurseries date from the 16th century. The north wall serves as a retaining wall for the churchyard, which is at a higher level. The lower sections of this wall are made of red brick from the 16th century, while the upper part was likely rebuilt in the 19th century. The western wall is similar in construction but is somewhat obscured by greenhouses.
