Description

The wall and gate piers to the north of the Old Gatehouse are a short section of restored 16th-century red brick wall that runs north from the northeast corner of the Old Gatehouse. Adjacent to it, at the entrance to the churchyard, there is a pair of 19th-century red brick piers that support wrought iron gates. This structure is part of a group that includes St Martin's Church, the churchyard walls, the Gatehouse, and the wall leading to Gatehouse Nurseries.
