Description

The wall in front of numbers 30 to 36 (even) on Church Road in West Drayton is a 16th-century red brick structure that has undergone some alterations and additions. In front of No 30, the wall stands approximately 7 to 8 feet high and is ramped up to gabled gateposts, which are likely a later addition. In front of No 32, the wall measures about 5 feet 6 inches to 6 feet in height and features a plinth. The section in front of No 34 has a ramped plinth that reaches a greater height and includes a buttress and pier. The wall continues in a similar style in front of No 36.
