Description

The garden pavilion, built around 1815, is located in the grounds of 'Ad Astra', originally part of Bentley Priory, and is likely designed by Robert Smirke for Lord Abercorn. This single-storey, four-bay structure is made of rendered brick and features five pilasters that support an entablature adorned with wreaths in the frieze. Between the pilasters, there are four tall window openings. The north-east elevation includes two blind openings with eared surrounds. At the rear, there is a projecting chimney breast, and the chimney surround is preserved inside.
