Description

Trafalgar Lodge, the south lodge of Trafalgar Quarters located at the corner of Old Woolwich Road, was built in 1813. This single-storey building features a sunk basement and has one window facing Park Row. It is topped with a low-pitched, hipped slate roof. The exterior is constructed of yellow brick, accented with a stone cornice, blocking course, and stone plinth.

The front includes a round-headed window set in a round-arched recess that rests on the plinth, flanked by smaller round-arched recesses, all with stone cills. The entrance, located on the north side, has two windows in recesses. All windows are sash style with glazing bars. The central door consists of six flat panels topped with a cornice head and a radial fanlight, situated in a round-arched recess similar to the flanking windows.
