Description
Regency Lodge is a single-storey building dating from the early 19th century, originally serving as the lodge for the former Dover House. It is constructed of brick, which is now painted, and features a slate roof. The lodge has one window facing the road, which is currently blocked up and set within a round-arched shallow recess, topped by a gauged flat arch. The corners of the building are accentuated by Tuscan angle piers, and the gable is designed to resemble a Tuscan pediment. The return elevation consists of three bays, with cambered arches above the central door and the flanking windows, each of which has a sunk panel above.
