Description

The drinking fountain on Roehampton Lane, dated 1882, was designed by J C Radford. It is made of grey and red granite and features a Doric arcaded kiosk, which was erected by Mrs Lyne Stephens. The structure includes a cupola and a ball finial on a stepped plinth, with cambered-shaped horse troughs on both the north and south sides. In the center, there is a circular basin that holds a bronze fountain group by Henry Dasson, depicting putti and fish. Additionally, there is a semi-circular basin set into each of the four sides of the kiosk.
