Description
Standlynch Lodge is a lodge cottage built around 1860 for Trafalgar House. It is constructed of Flemish bond brick with vitrified headers and features a Welsh slate roof with brick stacks. The building has a T-plan layout and is two stories high with three windows across the front. A central two-story porch includes a planked door and a leaded cross window with a hoodmould, flanked by two similar cross windows. The first floor has two-light casements and one single casement window. The right side of the building has a canted bay with casements that face the drive to the house, topped with an ornamental slate roof. At the rear, there is one single casement window on the ground floor. The rear roof pitch has stacks, one of which is octagonal and particularly decorative. The interior has not been inspected.
