Description
The presbytery located to the east of Our Lady Help of Christians Roman Catholic Church, formerly known as Wricklemarsh Dower House and later Park House, is a late 18th-century building. It has three storeys and a basement, featuring five windows. The structure is made of multicoloured stock brick with an ashlar front. The roof is concealed behind a cornice and blocking course, while the basement is rusticated. The sash windows have plain reveals and glazing bars. A curved double flight of steps leads to a prostyle Tuscan porch, which is supported by paired columns and pilasters, and features a wrought-iron balcony above. The entrance door consists of six fielded panels and has a reeded cornice head with a patterned radial fanlight above it. There is also a round-arched basement entrance located below the porch. This building is part of a group of listed buildings in Cresswell Park.
