Description
No 2 Burgos Grove is an early 18th-century house that has undergone some alterations. It stands three storeys tall with a sunk basement and features three windows. The front of the building is now rendered, and there is a parapet that conceals the roof. There are wide bands at the first and second floor levels. The windows, which date from the mid-19th century, are sash windows with side margin lights set in older, nearly flush moulded frames. The ground floor windows have mid-19th century moulded architraves. The entrance door is wide and consists of four fielded panels and two glazed panels, topped with a fluted cornice head that connects with the impost blocks of the moulded architrave. Above the door is a semicircular fanlight. The doorcase features paired pilasters with feather capitals, which support leaf-patterned curved brackets leading to the cornices, and there is an open pediment above.
