North Boundary Wall, entrance gateway and spur wall with gateway in grounds to North of house called "The Tilt Yard" TQ 4274 53/W18E

  1. The outer wall a very high, early C16 red brick wall with sloped coping. Inner sloping buttresses added later. Tall gateway with chamfered, 4-centred arch and wall stepped up above it. Diagonal course below sloped coping. Splayed, sloped buttresses inside. Lower spur wall, running South front just East of gateway, contains similar but lower gateway.
