Description

Nos 472 and 474 on Hertford Road are an early 19th-century pair of houses, each two storeys high with one window and wide proportions. They feature a low-pitched hipped roof covered with slate and eaves soffits. The walls are rendered with incised lines. The recessed sash windows have glazing bars, and those on the ground floor are set in round-arched recesses. The doors, which are now flush, have patterned radial fanlights and are also located in round-arched recesses.
