Description

The bridge over the New River, located on Turkey Street, was built in 1827 and cast by Priestfields Ironworks, near Bilston. It features a segmental arch with open spandrels and a raised keyblock that displays the date. The railings are also segmental-arched, consisting of circular bars with squared tops and bottoms. At each end, there are square, panelled columns topped with pyramidal caps.
