Description

The Market Cross in the grounds of Myddelton House is a stone cross dating from 1826, which was restored in 1866. Originally located in Enfield Market Place from 1826 to 1904, it was later moved to its current position. The cross is designed in the Gothic style and stands on four buttressed piers. The second stage features flying buttresses adorned with crocketted finials.
