Description

Nos 27 and 29 on The Avenue are a pair of semi-detached houses built around 1880 by architect R N Shaw. They are constructed from red and yellow brick and feature tiled roofs. The houses are two storeys tall with attics, each having a single-storey bay and a hooded entrance door. They also have a coved eaves cornice and large gabled dormers. No 29 retains a brick pier and wooden railing on a dwarf brick wall in its front garden.
