Description

Nos 19 and 21 on The Avenue are a pair of semi-detached houses built around 1879 by architect R N Shaw, following his first published design for such homes. These two-storey houses feature red and yellow brick construction with tiled roofs and have attics. They are adorned with a coved cornice and single-storey timber bay windows. Notably, No 21 retains its original door hood. Each house has a three-light pedimented dormer.
