Description
Doble Court, located at numbers 9-12 on Addington Road in Sanderstead, is a building that is part of a former larger house, likely dating from the mid-19th century. It is not shown on the Tithe map of 1844 but appears on the Ordnance Survey map of 1868. The building is two storeys tall and constructed of red brick, featuring rubbed brick voussoirs and a parapet. It has a slate hipped roof.
On the first floor, there are three horned sash windows with cambered heads. Above the ground floor, there is a band with dentils, and the ground floor itself has three sash windows that currently have modern glazing. To the right, there is a lower wing that is two storeys high, which connects to a single-storey polygonal structure. This structure also has red brick walls, a slate roof, and a louvred cupola. The building features modern leaded and stained glass windows, as well as a doorway with modern doors.
