Description

Coome Lodge is likely from the early 18th century and is a two-story building. It is constructed of red brick, with a raised brick band marking the division between the ground and first floors. The front of the building has five modern sash windows; the central bay has a slight projection. The building features a brick dentil cornice and a plain brick parapet, with a slate roof punctuated by two 19th-century dormers. A late 19th-century brick porch sits centrally, and there are end stacks. A two-bay 19th-century brick extension adjoins the building to the left. A large conservatory with brick walls and an iron and glass roof extends from the right side. The garden front was designed in the late 19th century.
