Description

71A Wickham Road is a timber-framed building, likely dating from the late 16th century, that has been completely refaced in pebble-dash in the current century. The building is L-shaped and has two storeys, featuring a steeply pitched tiled roof that is hipped at one end. The L-wing of the structure is from the 19th century. The garden elevation includes a two-storey modern brick section, also pebble-dashed, with a timber bay and a gable above. The windows are a mix of 19th-century casements and sashes. The entrance boasts an early 20th-century Georgian style wooden doorcase, complete with pilasters and a curved wooden hood.
